How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved? To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs. Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life--first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse--seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever? The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions. | | | Features: | |

Meyer should have quit while she was aheadNov 02, 2009 I absolutely loved books 1 and 2 - took about 3 days to read each of them. Had a hard time getting thru book 3 and an even harder time getting thru book 4 - so much so that I subjected myself to the horrible reading on the audiobook. Way TOO MUCH fluff and filler and a very disappointing ending. She spends 3/4 of the book working her way up to the "confrentation" and then everyone lives happily ever after. Very poorly written - she could have gotten her point across in 3 book all equal to the size of the first book. VERY DISAPPOINTED and sorry that I wasted my time with this series.

I dont see why people have to be so mean.Nov 02, 2009 I don't get why some people are saying the things they say, cause I loved the book. I cried when Jake left and I cried when he came to the wedding. I know how Bells feels when it comes to the whole wedding stuff. I'm 19 and just got married and I didn't have much say in my planning. I didn't get to pick my dress out, it was given to me! As for the honeymoon we didn't have a lot of cash so we didn't do much....but hey trust me we made the best of it. Bella has been through a lot the Edward is it so bad that what she wants she gets, yeah it hurt her but she wanted it. And to me this book just shows you that you may not want kids, you may be willing to give up everything for someone, but when something as great as a baby happens your way of thinking changes. Nessie was a gift, I loved her she and Bella are my favorites, of and Alice too. And I loved how the vampire families came together to save Nessie and the Cullens. And Jacob chose to love and be with Nessie, the fact that I read that someone called him a pet to her makes me sick. If people really cared then they would know that in legend it was said that after so long of drinking human blood vampires were able to go out in the sun and have kids. Yeah it would take years and years, but it's said that it could happen. I could see how being frozen at 17 would mean that Edward could you know...do the deed and have a baby.
Now I don't think a little kid should read this book, but if they are 14 or over then I say go for it, give it a shot!!

Amazing end to an amazing sagaNov 02, 2009 Even though I'm a few years older than "young readers", this saga was amazing. The final installment "Breaking Dawn" tied up all loose ends expertly. I'm only disappointed that there is not a Book 5. Thank you Stephenie Meyer for giving the world a great love story.

Excellent.Nov 02, 2009 Wow, what a story. While each book in the Twilight series has some special qualities, this book takes the prize. I'm on my second reading of it.
